I had a wonderful experience at Alcove Acupuncture with Tessa Neilson. She is a very skilled and caring acupuncturist. I came in for severe leg pain and poor blood circulation, and Tessa took the time to truly listen, understand my concerns, and explain the treatment plan clearly to me. I cannot recommend Tessa Neilson at Alcove Acupuncture enough. I came to her clinic suffering from chronic back pain following a car accident, and thanks to her incredible care and expertise, my pain is completely gone. Tessa is absolutely fantastic. From the moment you walk in, you can tell how much she genuinely cares about her clients. She is incredibly honest and deeply knowledgeable in her field, which made me feel completely at ease. I left my treatment feeling relaxed, reset, and truly incredible. Hands down the best decision I made was to book in and see Tessa for an acupuncture session after a difficult and stressful time with a loved one. Tessa's approach, to meet me where I am at is appreciated. Her encouragement of me to be my highest level of my being is appreciated. This will become a ritual, to book into Alcove Acupunture as self-care.
I'm 9 months pregnant and Tessa treated me with some needling to help prepare my body for labour. The space is beautiful and relaxing, and I even dozed off during the appointment. Tessa herself has trained extensively as a herbalist, as well as a doula and acupuncturist and is incredibly knowledgable, offering additional insights and herbal remedies throughout the appointment. I would highly recommend her for any acupuncture needs, especially if you're expecting!
