The first guy I worked with, Dee, was great. Friendly and accommodating service. After my second appointment the Yorktown location moved and everything with the company went south. I had to reschedule my set appointment times because their availability is all over the place. They sent me to the Suffolk location because it was the only one that fit with my schedule (any time on a Thursday). Alcolock is a farce. The LR device reads exogenous, airborne VOCs, in addition to endogenous alcohol. The machine cannot discriminate between ingested ethanol and and errant whif of windex, Chanel no.5, or hairspray. In addition to being non ethanol specific, an inherent dissipation rate is necessary. That means the person must be held hostage long enough to prove, or disprove actual alcohol ingestion.
