The Beachcomber Tavern at Silver Strand Beach is not the bar it used to be. I was so looking forward to it's reopening after being closed for so long... & I spoke with the gentleman outside who said that he was required to be there, for security. He was nice & polite, but since it is so nice now, different clientele, neighbors, etc., the old restrictions don't make sense anymore. There must be incentives to keep businesses open. I would like to express my support for removing the current restrictions against the Beachcomber tavern and its owners Jim and Jen. The Beachcomber has a long community history and the previous owners left a bad taste in the local residents mouths. The current owners have worked hard to reconnect with their neighbors and the local community.
