For the repair of an old, used road bike (Jamis) with a market value of just $400-500, I was charged over $1,061 here today—without any prior consultation or approval?! The $440+ charged for labor alone is an absolute outrage and bears absolutely no relation to the actual work involved. And 300 only for a crank…crazy!!! I feel completely ripped off. The man at the shop was extremely helpful. We had an issue with my brother’s wheelchair (we’re on vacation visiting from Europe) and didn’t know how to fix it. I called ahead, and from the very beginning it was clear he genuinely wanted to help. We went to the shop and in less than 10 minutes we walked out with the wheel fixed. Thank you so much for your help you saved our holiday!
