Support checkin and tsa are always quick and easy. Restaurant options are lackluster and have terrible food options but staff is always friendly (been there forever). We had significant delays due to the storm and was traveling with pets. We loved the convenience of having a pet relief area in a prime area however NO ONE CLEANS THAT PLACE as it absolutely WREAKED of ammonia. Typically pretty fast getting through except on Monday mornings. It’s a good small airport that will probably never not be under construction.
Airport needs to do better! Taxi over to get plane deiced and they guy hit the wing with the de- icer machine and bent wing right outside our window seat. Had to rebook flight which cost us an extra 150 in uber fees. Do better training on multi million dollar aircraft's ! Totally unacceptable! TSA workers on their phones holding up the lines too busy laughing with others conversing need to pay more attention!
I got off my flight at 11:55pm. I had a car rental reservation for 1am at Albany, NY airport. I went to their desk and no one was there. Then I went outside to their other location in the garage. The sign said they will be back at 6am. So, here I am stuck at the airport until then. Doesn’t make since to get a hotel for 5 hours. I complained to Alamo and no one cared.
