I've been banking with Alaska USA for about 15 years. Their fees are the highest in town, they are the least helpful on the phone, and their loans are sub par. I'd suggest looking elsewhere for banking needs.
Telephone member 'service' center is terrible: expect 15 minute on-hold waits. My debit card expired last March; had to ask them for a replacement. Took 4 months to mail replacement debit card. Now cannot activate card, online activation system does not work, and nobody at service center can help activate it. They ignore this problem, ignore my emails, very passive aggressive. Do not bank here.
