I had a very pleasant phone call with Brent about my recent order. After he took care of my issue we talked about the different Alaskan woods. It was very interesting listening to Brent's deep knowlege of tonewoods. I'll definitely be buying more from him in the future.
Just a humble retired guy here in Murphy NC writing to tell you how much I appreciate the Sitka Spruce I purchased from Alaska Specialty Woods. I have complete 2 guitars so far using the light quilt and light curly salvaged Sitka, a Grand Auditorium and a Dreadnought. I build as gifts to honor people in our lives that are involved in music ministry and other service roles. The personal service I received was excellent. I was looking for an unusual size sound board for a large dulcimer and Brian found the perfect piece while we were on the phone. Thanks so much. I'm looking forward to hearing the dulcimer when I'm finished.
Canadian customers be careful. The $95 usd bell call will run you $190 cnd. Not so worth it.
