We had a flight booked for 9am February 3 from Kelowna to Seattle. We have a flight scheduled from Seattle to Dubai on the same day. At 8:53pm February 2, 2025 we received notice that the flight from Kelowna has been canceled. Alaskan Air reason for this is due to weather. They lied, no flights from any other airline were canceled at Kelowna international airport. In fact the WestJet flight that departs from YLW to SEA at 9am is on time. Indescribable experience; we were several times reminded that as we bought cheapest ticket, we cannot have seat together. As we got cheapest ticket we will be kicked out first if the flight is full. Despicable checking experience.
Unbieveable bad service. You are a number and that's it. I have had issue after issue with Alaska, they are cheap, but there is obviously a reason why. Stay away from this airline if possible.
