Check-in /bag tag experience is rough. Just not a good customer experience no matter how nice the check in staff are. People lined up for almost an hour waiting for the start time for the staff to show up so they can check-in bags and get assistance. I understand the model to have staff show up as close to take off as possible because it’s cheaper. I recently flew with Alaska Airlines and had a very positive overall experience. The biggest thing I appreciated was how smooth and efficient everything was from start to finish.
