BEWARE! I booked two months in advance and called a week ahead to confirm. He even upgraded us to a larger vehicle on that phone call. Despite this, they overbooked my car. Other than telling me his boss does this all the time, the gentleman at the desk offered no help or advice. All the other car places were sold out, which left us stranded at the airport at 1:00 a.m. We ended up getting a cab. The driver said they do this to people all the time. On a trip to Fairbanks, I placed a reservation for a vehicle through Booking.com. I was presented with three options from Nextcar. After making a selection and receiving a confirmation email, my flight was delayed, so I called the local customer service line in Fairbanks to let them know I'd be running late. Alaska 4x4 is the local company that handles the reservations for Nextcar, and I was informed they had cancelled my reservation and that they wouldn't have any available vehicles until next month. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received. We were wrongly charged for fuel, despite returning the vehicle with a completely full tank. We have time-stamped photos of both the fuel gauge and mileage taken immediately prior to drop-off, which clearly prove this. In addition, we were incorrectly billed for an extra day of insurance.
