Alamogordo
Went sightseeing over the Sacramento Mountains and Lincoln National Forest. Came out of the mountains at 10,000 ft and saw the airport and realized I needed to chop and drop to lose 5,000 ft to get into the pattern. Alamogordo is an abrupt flat drop off as soon as you get out of the mountains. Did that and landed to get some gas at the FBO. It's by the threshold of runway 4.
