I had intially booked a Mazda CX80 and on arrival was allocated a Nissan X-trail. The latter is smaller than the Mazda by 30 cm and this significantly impacted the amount of storage space and comfort of paasengers. We used the vehicle to drive around Perth though also to drive to Margaret River 3 hours away. My three children are all adult size and with luggage, the trip was very uncomfortable. Excellent experience all around with Alamo. We recently hired a Kia Carnival for just over a week. I'm glad they sent photo instructions on how to find the car rental area because Perth airport is confusing. The check-in process was very easy and the lady was extremely helpful even carrying one of the carseats to the car with us (actually i think she carried both while we all wheeled luggage and pushed a pram haha). The car was fine, the service was good. I cannot stand that you get the price, in this case $299 and then when it comes through on your credit card you see that it is in US$. This is WRONG. Even the invoice which is all about Perth airport, the times, the address etc is in US$ but doesn't tell you. The deception of the pricing is so clear. Clean up your act guys!!!!!
