I rented a car from this branch and signed a contract on pick-up time; the car was in a very good condition. After drop-off, they surprisingly charged me almost 15% extra in addition to the total amount on the signed contract with no convincing explanation; there was not any damage to the car and it was returned with full gas. I tried to get hold of the manager, but have not heard anything. It is really disappointing.
The Alamo Rent A Car is located at the National counter. I dealt with the same employee at pickup and drop off, and she was wonderful. We got a great price on a car at the time of booking and ended up getting an upgrade when we picked up. Pickup and drop off was quick and efficient!
I rented a vehicle for about 2 weeks. During that time I got a stone chip. An accident report was completed. They have since charged my credit card thousands of dollars and are unwilling to provide me with an accounting of the charges.
Update on my Alamo Rent a Car. After writing a review in which I provided details on how Alamo cancelled my reservation with less that 24 hours notice and left me with no recourse that to rent from another company, I received a message from Alamo, saying that 'that customer service is important to them and please send them a private message describing the cancellation". I rented a car on July 14/23 - July 16/23 which I had pre-booked @ YQR. By the time I had arrived my needs had changed so requested an upgrade for a larger vehicle. The young man at the counter didn't hesitate to accommodate me and I was so thankful and grateful for that, with no extra charge I might add. I will absolutely use Alamo next time I need a vehicle. Great job Alamo and employee.
