The staff at Alamo were all very friendly and informative, which I really appreciate—kudos for that! However, the issue was with the car we rented. The tires were underinflated, which we only noticed because of the indicator on the speedometer. We ended up having to spend extra money to inflate the tires ourselves, and doing that in the winter weather in State College was really inconvenient. Not only did Alamo give my reserved vehicle away, the representatives were rude and disrespectful. They never apologized and were dismissive. They’ve lost a customer for life. Rent from Avis.
We were taken to this station after our car (also a Alamo rental car) broke down through no fault of our own. Instead of help, we were pressured to sign a new, more expensive contract, otherwise we would not get a car... That speaks for itself!
