ホテルに飽きてきたので、近くのパプアビーチに行こうと、前日にワイコロアビレッジ内のナショナルレンタカーに行きました。担当者とかたことの英語で予約、結果トータル費用(ガソリン満タン返し不必要)で、149ドルと2人がかりで、説明されて、翌日レンタルし夕方返却した。支払いはデビッドカードでした為、当日の銀行明細を見た所、日本円で21000円引き落としされていた。早速事務所に赴き問いただしたが、朝の担当者は不在、女性担当者から英語で説明されたが、理解不能の為、その場で日本語デスクに連絡するが、なんともよくわからない解答。前日に金額の控えももらっていなかったこともあり、結局うやむや。言えることは、レンタカーは現地では借りない事。必ず日本で契約しておき、きっちり契約書は詳細まで日本語に訳しておくこと、あと、領収書或いは見積書は必ずとって置く事。楽しかった思い出が水の泡になってしまった。絶対現地で借りない様に(ナショナルレンタカーとアラモレンタカーは同じ事務所内にある、どっちもどっち)
