I will never be using Alamo rental car services ever again!! I had reserved my car weeks ago for my trip across the state. When I booked the car the confirmation states that you have 24 hours if you run into any issues with the time you designated. Alamo has completely dropped the ball. Me and my parents reserved a car over a month ago. After a flight delay we called in the morning to confirm our reservation was still good. Was told over the phone our car would be held for 24hours so there would be no issues with being delayed. After arriving late at night we went to the service desk only for us and about half a dozen other groups to be told they had no cars for us leaving us stranded. Amazing service from check-in and upon returning the vehicle! No complaints! I received an upgrade so I wouldn’t have to wait. The gentleman offered to get me a luggage cart for my luggage. I appreciated that! Thanks for amazing customer service!
My experience was great.
Lacked suppling the correct information online, overcharged me and forced me to use my credit card like my bank card wasn’t good enough…. I reserved online in advance and locked in the rate for “ Special Vehicle Determined Upon Pick-up, Compact Or Larger Or Similar” at $171.19 but ended up paying $213.94. They refused to take my debit card like it was useless and instead I had to go back to my car to get a credit card…??? Why??? What if I didn’t have a credit card?
