*Update Below* I was extremely disappointed with my recent car rental experience. I reserved an economy car for my trip, but upon arrival to pick up the vehicle, I was informed that only two trucks were available. This was especially frustrating given the long drive ahead. To make matters worse, the truck I was given had bald tires that weren’t even snow tires. This posed a significant safety risk, as the tires were not suitable for the driving conditions. There isn’t a better rental company than Alamo. I travel a lot both for work and pleasure, and to date, I have never had a bad experience with Alamo, or National.
