My wife booked a rental car through Alamo when she got our Southwest Airlines tickets from John Glenn International Airport to Panama City airport, Florida. The rental rate was slightly less than other companies. We were assigned an Audi A3, which I had never driven before; I took time to learn the basic functions and never did learn all of them lol! Alamo gave me a car that won't even open this morning much less run. The tow provider map shows they are here to get the car but Alamo says they are at the airport. The rental agency at the airport told their own tow agency just now that they had to get the car first so now I am told that it will be another hour. Never Alamo again. Terrible emergency service. Roadside assistance is not assistance. Be prepared to be out in the elements for hours. The call centers have no idea what is going on and there is no local contact any... read more
