Hopefully I can save at least one person a headache by not having them rent with Alamo. Find another company. Even though they are, I believe, maybe under the same umbrella, the company I've always had better experience with is Enterprise. Had to rent a car twice in one week from Alamo at the Eugene airport. They had the best rates and each time they 'held' a $300 deposit. It's been over a week and they still have not released the $600 back to my card. Need to provide the detailed processes/procedures about rental car returns when people get the car from the counter at Eugene Airport.
Understaffed. Long wait. 1+ hour. Not impressed.
I got a great price for a renatl here, the staff was friendly, and the pickup and dropoff processes were very easy. Plus the cars are stored right across the street from the terminal, no shuttle ride required, which is important for me as a person with limited mobility.
Car came with no washer fluid. And windshield washers did not work at all. This was very inconvenient being that we drove the ocean coast and had to stop and pour water bottles on the windshield to clean it
