I chose Alamo specifically because they had much better reviews than the other rental companies at the airport. I reserved my rental and arrived ready to pay. I lost my wallet a couple weeks ago I am still waiting on physical card replacements so I took out my phone to pay. The attendant refused to help me or allow me to use Apple Pay. I offered to verify that I am the owner of these cards and bank accounts but he blamed corporate policy and told me I was out of luck. This is terrible. I got charged an extra $12 ($6.5/gal) at checkout for Gas add-on when I returned the car tank FULL. When I confronted customer rep about it, they say they would take it off from my total. I was issued the refund. Couple days later, my card was charged again with $12. Carefully review your rental agreement when you book with this car rental company!
