When an hour away from the airport I checked the registration and found it was not current. The company would neither send a new one nor deliver a car with a valid registration. In the future I will check this before I leave the airport.
Don't reccommend. Worst rental car experience i have EVER had. I recently had a RESERVATION for a luxury sedan 2025 BMW/Audi. But, at the time of delivery, I was given a 2020 Mazda SUV, while still being charged the same rate. I needed a receipt that showed which vehicle I was given, but I never received one. The only receipt available in the Alamo app shows the total amount I paid for a luxury vehicle, without any details about the actual car. So I basically got screwed out of money.
The check in and check out process was quick and easy. Personnel were very friendly and helpful. Would use Alamo again.
Dear Alamo Customer Service, I recently rented a medium size SUV; however, at the time of delivery, I was given a Hyundai KONA, which is practically a sedan, while still being charged the same rate. To make matters worse, only two days later I received an email informing me that the vehicle needed an oil change and asking me to visit your offices for a swap.
