Charged me twice for the same rental. Have called repeatedly to resolve and was told to wait a few more days and I should see a credit to my card. No credit. Called again. Same thing. Didnt want to dispute with my cc company over something that should have been resolved so easily but I may have no choice. I book alot of travel for my staff. Looks like we wont be booking with Alamo anymore. Customer service is horrible.
I have a Venmo credit card at the person at the desk refused to take it despite it being a visa card.
Other than the fact that the Rent-A-Car counters are located, what seems like two counties away from the airport, renting from Alamo was a fine experience. Of course, any of the Rent-A-Car companies are going to be located in that same complex far away from the actual airport arrivals. Drop off and pick up was pretty easy and I like this system of you can pick out whatever car you want in the class you rented. The line to get your car at the counter was quite long.
