The people working at the rental counter in Appleton were some of the nicest that we have experienced in any airport. I also appreciate that we were given an email address and until 10am the next day to notify them of any dings or dents in the car. It was mid-night and snowing when we arrived so we did not have a full view of the car. There was (what we felt) a significant door ding on the drivers door but it was quick and easy to email a picture of it and get on with our vacation. Great in Appleton but not so great when I wanted to extend for 4 days and return on South west instead of cut rate Alligiant, will never bother with Alligiant again would rather charter private and gather 3 or 4 couples to split the cost, no hassles no waiting in lines it is well worth the money unless you are a used car salesman from Green Bay
We had the best rental car experience in many years this week at the Alamo airport location in Appleton WI ATW. Our counter agent Kia was wonderful and treated us like family. We arrived from FL and were unprepared for the WI winter cold and she set us up with a brand new Nissan parked just three spots from the front door! Also, This Alamo rental was a very good deal for four days at Christmas time.
Great service! I would recommend TRIPLE checking that your reservation is for Appleton airport though when booking ahead of time. We had a reservation for an Enterprise car for what I thought was the airport and turns out it was a location 1 mile from the airport. Which wouldn’t have been a big deal had we not had our 2 year old and a car seat to lug. The lady at the counter was nice and told me that happens more often than not. So just triple check!!
