I went to Alamo Rental Car In Lehigh Valley Airport to get a car that my employer had "pre booked" for me. Now please keep in mind that Iam a CDLA driver and just wanted to get home for the memorial day weekend, but when I got there, after having checked in, they told me that my card was declined, even though, the fact that they told me it would be $214, when I booked, I had over 300 on my card. Very poor communication at return. I told the agent I was returning my car and renting another immediately. She took the keys, processed the return, then told me there were no cars available. Even Budget’s staff were surprised she didn’t warn me beforehand. I was left stranded, had to Uber home, and rent from another company. Very disappointing.

I had a horrible experience with Alamo. On May 12th I was scheduled to drop off the rental I currently had through Budget, at 9pm. Since that booking could not be altered without a large fee, I scheduled a pickup with Alamo for 9pm also on the 12th. My plan was to drop off the vehicle I already had, and pick up one with Alamo at the same time.
