Disappointed they replaced the wings with breaded boneless wings. The regular wing were amazing. Only reason I came to this theater and spent about $100 per person each visit. Also service is faster with the QR code menu, except the camera can't always see the QR code and people have to turn on their flashes to be able to read it.

If Alamo corporate is listening, YOU ARE ENGAGING IN DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES. You expect the costumer to find your hidden signs referencing the additional 18% SERVICE FEE on all food and beverage (BEFORE TIP!!) If you were even somewhat ethical you could easily build this 18% charge into the menu price on all items (since ALL items are affected, even when seated in the bar area and getting beer from only the bartender). This one star review is solely because of the insane corporate policy of 18% SERVICE CHARGE on all food and beverage, even when sitting at the bar. This is IN ADDITION to the TIP LINE that recommends an additional 20%+ tip on the bill (almost 40% gratuity total). When I inquired about being overcharged, I was told it was corporate policy for this 18 percent surcharge in order to "tip the runners". There were absolutely no "runners" involved in my order. My wife and I had a rare day out without our daughter and spent it at Alamo Drafthouse in the City Foundry. We watched Michael, the Michael Jackson movie, and it was excellent. The theater experience was smooth, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. Alamo is always a great place to see a movie, and this visit was no different.

I just wanted to warn you folks to check your tickets if you book in advance. We bought tickets to Hokum for 4/24 at 6:45p to meet with another couple. I hit up my friend this morning to see if they wanted to get a bite to eat before the movie and I hear from him, not the alamo, that he reached out and the show got cancelled. I check my ticket (still available in the app) and notice that it still has my seats but bo theater so I reach out to customer support and then, after my email, they send out a mass email the morning of... read more
