The call center which I believe is out of the US as everyone you speak with barely speaks English.  This company is horrible. I don’t know how they stay in business!  I had an appointment which they let me know if I canceled within 24 hours that I would still be billed. The day of my appointment they sent me a text 6:50 am to let me know that my 9:00 appointment was cancelled because they did not have a technician on site at that time.  I have had another experience in the past with similar negative results.  I would not eve... read more

I'm a retired physician. While the overworked staff and especially Brenda the were fine, my results were delayed nearly 2 weeks. I was only able to get them by calling a supervisor Kameko, who was also very nice and did get the results that day. And the reading was by a very qualified doctor. This is not satisfactory by any means. They are dealing with sick patients even though they are ambulatory, and delay can be disastrous. I read many other people with the same complaints. It has been almost two weeks and my Dr still doesn't have the results of my CT scan. They need to open the images and examine the results. A fax will not do, and its not 1999. This is delaying my surgery, and now I have to take 3 hours of my day to drive and get a CD to take to my Drs office. What a horrible place to do business. While the people are nice at the facility, what good is that if the results are not provided to the Dr??

On akumin This place, Akumin Riverside, has shady business practices and rude people. TWICE I was assigned appointments ... ASSIGNED appointments with no input from me. The first time I called and was treated rudely by the nasty boy answering the phone when I tried to explain. Terrible decision making by Ivonne at the front desk. Someone came in extra late for an MRI due to being lost supposedly and instead of sticking to her first decision to make the late person reschedule or go after the rest of us, she just let her go in ahead of us. So my 630 appt became a 7pm appt, finally leaving the office at 730pm. Another person who also came in late was also allowed to just go in. Sunrise Lakes location is really unprofessional. They cancelled my appt the day before due to I now need a Mammo because the last one was Oct 2022, appt was Nov 10-It took 3-4 weeks to make an appt because Akumin's system was down every time I called, now I have to start all over when my TaTa's are bothering me. Management was no better when the guy from the scheduling department reached out to them to advise them that it was Akumins fault. Back to Plantations location I go.

The staff is nice, but they are horrible when it comes to payment. After our insurance covered the procedure, and we had already paid for half, they randomly started charging my card without permission, and with nothing owed.

Horrible company, sound like they do not know what are doing. First time i have to schedule my mammogram i was waiting 2 month and it was canceled 3 days before, they said technician is not available. right now, i have to schedule biopsy, they keep me on the phone for 35 min and they said they can't because they do not train for that some other team will contact me to schedule. Also, they can't find my proscription and it was faxed to them 1 week ago

Impolite and abrupt on 3 phone calls, with heavy foreign accents and officious manners. The long faced xray tech later said nothing except where to stand and sit. The xray equipment looked very old. A losers club.
