We have an awesome police force! It is great to see them on 272 and around town. When a tree fell during a storm on some utility lines near our house while I was away from home, they were on it immediately. One of our Akron officers called the fire department who came and removed the immediate danger.
Great local neighborhood
If anyone one remembers Mayberry....this is Akron. The chief of police grew up in the town. The mayor is a wonderful man. Look at any growth map of the future of Lancaster County...you will notice that Akron doesnt change. Living here is quiet...it is on the WERT....has great parks. Good luck buying a house as they are rarely sold and go fast. And we have Weisers
