We rented a car for our two-week vacation, arriving with three children. The first time the car broke down was at midnight, and I had to drive all the way to the airport to pick up a replacement. My children and I stayed up all night and only got home at 2 a.m. Unfortunately, the substitute car also had serious issues — it was leaking oil and had zero oil in it when we took it to the mechanic. Staff was very nice and helpful, car was clean and nice
I had a very disappointing experience with Swift Car Rental and would not recommend their services. Despite fully paying for a four-day rental, I arrived just 20 minutes after their office closed and was told they could not accommodate me. When I returned the next day, I was informed that my reservation had been canceled entirely, with no car provided and no reasonable solution offered. Man sollte hier folgendes wissen, wenn man aus dem europäischen Ausland bei ACE Toronto/Airport eine Mietwagen bucht: - Die Abholstation ist außerhalb des Flughafen. Man muss den Zug nehmen und dann am Bahnhof auf eine Abholung warten. - Man sollte viel Zeit mitbringen, alles dauert lange - Den Rückgabeort muss man sich sehr gut merken - Es werden noch diverse Zusatzkosten addiert (Versicherungen, etc...) - Ich habe einen nicht vollgetankten Mietwagen erhalten.
