Travel Town Railroad is an absolutely delightful and engaging museum-park — informative, well-organized, and simply a joy to visit. We’ve been several times already, and it’s never overly crowded, which makes the experience even more relaxing. There’s a charming kids’ play area where children can bring their own toy cars or trains — perfect for imaginative play since toys aren’t provided there. Our kids always have a blast and never want to leave! We’ve also ridden the locomotive several times, and on our most recent visit... read more

Its a great little train museum to bring kids and it's dog friendly! Entry is free. There are few train cars and an engine you can go into and look at upclose. There is a small train that is about $2 to $4 that goes around the entire property twice. (Dogs are not allowed on it) There are a lot of bathrooms on site and a gift shop. Its an excellent place to picnic or have a kids birthday party.

A great free railroad museum and park with kids (parking is free). Some train cabins are open to the public for walking around. You might pay $4 for taking a train ride for two rounds here. We love to spend some time here before or after visiting LA Zoo. Great stop for the fans of trains.

I have been going to Travel Town for most of my life but the last few weeks I had my first experiences as a mama. We booked the grey car for my son’s second birthday and visited prior to check it out. There are train tracks the kids can play with inside but there are no trains provided so make sure to bring your own when you visit. I will say, for anyone booking a party here, make sure you have a clear plan and to team to help you set up and clean up because you only get three hours to do it all including enjoy your party.
