This is a great place to spend an afternoon with your toddler. Lots of activities, from visiting old engines to riding their miniature train, playing in the covered kids area or admiring the model train set. Plenty of shade (so perfect for picnics) and dog friendly. Many of people hiring tables for birthday parties. Just bring your own trains so you don’t have to buy overpriced toy engines and the gift shop.

I haven't been here since I was a child. I had memories of more trains and climbing all over them as well as a plastic molding machine that would make you a souvenir train. The trains are really cool to look at and there are picnic areas to use. No entrance fee to get in and the parking was free as well. Well worth a visit if in town or to revisit childhood memories.

Overall, we had a really good time here—definitely worth a visit if you’re in Los Angeles, espec... read more

The children thoroughly enjoyed this exceptional experience, which offered complimentary admission and featured authentic, full-sized trains, along with ample recreational space for families. It was truly remarkable.

We had a fun train ride for $4 per adult, and kids under 2 were free. I loved that they did two rounds of the ride, and the museum was cool to check out. My only complaint is that some staff weren't very friendly to visitors, I mean a simple 'you're welcome' or even a smile would make a big difference
