I was very hopeful after an initial connect with them when my 91 year old mom was getting released from the hospital. I called the representative who was there a few weeks later after things settled down to see where I could find information on being a caregiver since this was all new to me. The response I received was, "Well I don't know who to help you". After hanging up I went to the website where it has a list of resources for Caregivers that she didn't mention. Very disappointed.
What can I say. People inside are fantastic and caring. Theve saved us many times.
The woman that "greets" you, needs to work on perceived non-verbals. She has questioning, judgemental looks. Lacks warm, approachability, friendly character. I felt attacked defensive. Didn't realize a receptionist needs a full history on my health. When I explained, I was referred to ADRC thru WI and told to ask for a Benefit Specialist.
