I was charged $475.00 to replace 2 roll up garage door springs last Aug. 2021. It seemed grossly overpriced, but the guy told me other places were charging even more because the price of springs went up. So I looked up what the average cost of this repair was for that time, and it was 200-250. So beware. This is price gouging and I think it’s illegal. I wish I had called and checked with other places first. I am an elderly female on a fixed income. I think I was taken advantage of and it burns me up.
