A Manager must never be touchy and talk vulgar things to female employees. Thinking they cannot say or do anything..one should not take advantage over someone.

There are some amazing staff here. Those staff took true care for my husband of 35 years. BUT there are some horror of people working within this place. They abused my husband physically, and I wanted to abuse them. I reported them, and nothing was done. Nothing was done. He never sat at a table, they fed him on a tray at a seat...alone. If you really care for your relative, but you cannot be there daily, this is not the place to leave them. True story.

My parent lives at Lakeview Age Care ( North Tower ) and I visit it at least twice a week. This long term care home is absolutely terrible. Dirty, quality of meals are horrible, no nutrition value, often insufficent, and services are extremely extremely limited. Be prepared to hire your own helper(s) if one can afford it or to let your loved one die of starvation in there. I have visited several other long term care homes in Vancouver, this one is the worst I have ever encountered. No wonder this senior facility is rated 2.5... read more
