I can not begin to say just how amazing ALL the staff are at Afton Lodge. As soon as you arrive, no matter if your there to visit family/friends or to do a job, your made to feel so welcome & offered a cup of tea or coffee. I go around various nursing homes with my job & this place has always had happy vibes. The staff are so friendly, welcoming, & nothing is a trouble to them regarding the care & attention given to their resident who they class as family. 😊💕. My mum was a resident here for four years before having to move to a nursing home. I have struggled to find a nursing home that is anywhere near as good as this one. The staff are caring, hardworking and compassionate. The home is well managed, warm and homely. I can't recommend this home highly enough.
