Absolutely phenomenal! The Art & Culture International Talent Exhibition was like nothing I’d experienced before. From the amazing performances by talented artists like John Blaq to the captivating display of African arts, African Descent Ontario has done an exceptional job in promoting African heritage in Toronto. Every event feels like a celebration of African pride and unity. Thank you for creating this platform and bringing the community together so powerfully

The team at African Descent Ontario goes above and beyond to make every event inclusive, educational, and entertaining. I went to the African Youth Cultural Dance Showcase, and the energy was electric! It’s inspiring to see young people celebrating African traditions through dance and music. The whole event was well-organized, and it’s clear African Descent Ontario is a strong pillar in our community. Highly recommend to anyone looking to learn about or celebrate African culture!

Attending African Descent Ontario events has been a wonderful way to stay connected to African culture. The African Descent Ontario Summit on ‘Recognition, Justice, and Development’ was particularly impactful, addressing critical issues affecting African communities here in Canada and abroad. The speakers were insightful, and the networking opportunities were valuable. Thank you, African Descent Ontario, for championing African voices and making a difference.

I recently attended the Banyakitara Cultural Heritage Expo and was amazed by the authenticity and passion that went into organizing it. African Descent Ontario is clearly dedicated to preserving and sharing African cultural heritage. The diversity in dance, music, food, and educational panels made for an unforgettable experience. Only feedback would be to have more space for the audience, as the turnout was huge! But overall, incredible job – can’t wait for next year’s events
