The movers were extremely nice, however they showed up and didn’t have tools to disassemble my treadmill (which I was not that annoyed with at first, but did find it weird that movers would not have tools). To get it out of the room it was in the mover then decided to slide it on it’s side across my wood floors and ended up gouging them so that there are now visible, deep scratches in them. I can't even give a star as they did not show up and no communication. Made me to wait the entire day by rescheduling the move 4 times that was made on the day of move. Very pathetic service and the communication. Please don't ever try any affordable mover service. Ruin all your peace of mind and be ready to either put you in stress of not finding any movers or to pay extra
The movers were 45 minutes late. They were rushing me, I forgot my purse at home, 5 minutes away, I had to go back and get it after everything was off the truck. It says I was charged $180 instead of being charged $90 for a half an hour, when I shouldnot havebeencharged at all. I had items that were damaged. The person they went to next, I referred them and that person only lived 5 minutes away from where I used to live. Our company utilized Affordable Movers for a simple furniture relocation in October, of 2025. Following the move, several pieces of brand new and never been used furniture sustained significant damage, and one item was reported missing. A formal claim, including photographs and supporting documentation, was submitted to Affordable Movers with no response.
