Nice place got my boat there
Brought an 18ft Edge Water with a 135. Outboard Yamaha for a “tune up”. Plugs were done and was told everything was “fine”. Fast forward a couple of days….upon launching the boat, it wouldn’t start. The boat would simply crank over. The boat had a full tank of fuel and oil. Upon calling Affordable Marine, I was told the boat didn’t have fuel upon dropping it off, which in fact it did, 25 gallons worth prior to dropping off. Fantastic all-around. I had a mobile mechanic come out and tell me I needed a costly replacement of my fuel system. Jim and his crew diagnosed the issue properly and saved me a couple thousand dollars. Trustworthy and quality service, you can’t go wrong.
This is our first interaction with Affordable marine. Having never owned a boat before, Jim was VERY honest and courteous during our experience. I would not hesitate to purchase from this establishment. I have read the other negative reviews about this business and find it hard to believe they are referring to the same company.
