I was working with Steve and someone from Rocket Mortgage. The man from Rocket and our realtor encouraged us to work with multiple lenders. Steve asked me once for the contract. I got a loan estimate from Steve and sent it Rocket (I was told this was very normal.) Our lender from Rocket advised us to ask some questions - I am a first time home buyer and made that clear to Steve that I didn’t really know what I was doing.
