**** has been given evidence of their sellers selling fraudulent and fake items and they do nothing about it. All they care about is those small percentages when people buy stuff. They don't care about protecting the buyer.
I ordered two pair of jeans as a Christmas gift. The jeans were the wrong size. I returned the jeans (at my own expense) and received my money back. Two months later, Aeropostale charged me again for the jeans ($38.69). I called Customer Service and asked why they charged my account and was told that they never received the jeans back. Then why did you return my $38.69? You had to have received the jeans back or you wouldn't have refunded my money. You don't refund the money and hope you get the jeans back. We have tried the customers number on the account but it is now disconnected. We have emailed the customer apologizing about the mistake, advised about the credit issued and provided an appeasement in the email.
Online buyers beware!!! When you place an order online there will be a pending authorization charge and when the order ships a SECOND charge will clear your account while the pending authorization charge remains on your account and will not go away for 3-5 business days per customer service and those funds will not be available in your account until the pending authorization goes away.

The order appears to have processed normally with the customers VISA being billed $143.00 on 8/7/2019. The customer did contact us on 8/9/2019 and the agent advised her about the authorization hold and that It would drop off in 3 – 6 business days for most banks.
returned an item with a value of 16 but when we picked out a replacement worth 14 credit was not applies to our credit card. This is unacceptable way of doing business
I received a gift card for $25 as a Christmas gift. I made a purchase online and all of the sizes in my cart switch to extra small. I purchased a pair of Jeans and a $75.00 gift card from Aeropostale. At the register, I told the girl to make sure that the $75 was on the card because I did not want to be embarrassed. Low and behold I was indeed embarrassed when I shopped with my step son in Pennsylvania and he had to come out of the store to tell me the card had never been activated. My very first time purchasing on their web site, and probably the last time. Made a purchase online and right away getting spammed with their marketing email 1-2 times a day everyday. Used their unsubscribed link in the email at least 4 times (they stated it will take 2 business day to take effect) and now 2 weeks later still getting spammed. Worst online retails I have ever dealt with. Stay away from them

I ordered some jeans November 3rd (order number ********) and when I received my confirmation order the website had reversed my shipping and billing addresses. I quickly contacted Aeropostale to resolve this issue and while they initially said I would have to cancel the order eventually they said they would try to get the warehouse to fix the issue.
