Both of my parents have dementia and the road to getting them out of their house wasn't easy, but my wife and I find ourselves constantly saying 'Thank God for Aegis', they are in such good hands there. Everyone is so welcoming and quick to respond to requests, it's not cheap but in general care at this stage of life isn't and from what I've read about other assisted living options I wouldn't even hesitate to persuade anyone to consider Aegis above all other options. For numerous times, our mother at Aegis had been charged for the services that Aegis did not provide us. For example, Aegis charged us the dinners of her guests at the dining room (she did not have any guest on that particular day), Aegis charged for Tray Services that they did not provide us. Aegis claims that they have a sophisticated device/process to track dinner guest counts. We have seen everyday that tracking device is a piece of paper with a resident name list in the dining room.
