Wow, reading the other reviews, you would think Aegis Greewood is great. UNTIL you realize many of these reviews are BOGUS. They are written by employees of Aegis and others that merely took a tour of it. One that just passed by the building site. I counted 10 such BOGUS REVIEWS. My father was here almost 2 years. He moved from AL to memory care/LN. Initially, the general manager, RN & lead in LN were visible and engaged with residents & family. Two of these three key positions were transferred to other Aegis properties that needed "help." Thankfully, Andrew (the RN) returned to the Greenwood property when the other two transferred. Worst place to work, the manager’s don’t have a clue what they’re doing. Very rude never smiles at employees, they’re terrible. I got fired for talking too much to the residents (although I always had my work, done) and for taking out a 3lb dog to go do its business. Bill the manager hired me and told me to help anyone that needs help, and I did. But walking a dog is only for caretakers that never had time to do this. They didn’t have enough caretakers there. You can tell the little things matter here. Having both onsite nurses and a physical therapy center takes away some of the stress I feel about moving out of my own house.
