Visiting for the entire month, with my mum (in her 80s now) for 5 weeks. Welcoming people. Quiet surroundings, but not far from shops if I wanna getaway. Brilliant.
Have had two friends here and they were permanent. The care was A1 I couldn’t say anything negatively at all. Good care, good food etc.
My Dad had to go into respite and we were told this place was ok. He hadn't had a serious fall in 12 months prior, yet whilst here for a mere 4 weeks, he had 5 serious major falls. One night he sustained head injuries and the doctor on call didn't even send him for an x-ray. He also complained to us that staff routinely strapped him into a wheelchair and shut him in his room for hours at a time.
