Advent Care exceeded my expectations regards my mothers 6 week respite stay this year. The food was exceptional, social activities excellent, ambiance sophisticated, more like a hotel than a nursing home. Staff were delightful and clearly love working here. Their patience was always in place with friendly dispositions.

If you aren't an Adventist you will receive awful treatment here. Stay away. And if you are an Adventist, fix your damn church so that it stops the discrimination. Shame. I don't care if your Adventist residents are happy as pie, if you can't offer care for all don't offer it to begin with. Other church affiliated care (such as Anglicare) are far more ethical even if you hold different or no beliefs.
