I'm going to comment on the recent merger of Rivermark and Advantis CCU. As a Advantis member coming in, here's my day Thursday spent trying to find a physical location of Rivermark to get my accounts straightened out and verified, etc. I live in the Dalles, Or. A RIVERMARK branch is here. After being locked out of both credit unions while they "completed the merger for a smooth transition" which took four days, and still not working. They are some of the best people to deal with
Advantis has become increasingly more and more difficult to work with. They lock your card, put security codes to login to the app that are not only annoying but time consuming. But, now after shutting down the bank for six days and having no access, now that they are back up and running, if there are any issues you have to wait on hold for over an hour only to be given another phone number to call and wait another hour. Great, friendly and helpful workers. My only complaints though is a few times last year I had problems avoiding fraud/hacks off my debit card which meant replacing it a few times every almost month or two. Then If it wasn't that the next frustrating thing was a few times they have these maintenance system glitches on their app/website to the point you can't see what's in your account and worse not being able to move your $$ until the maintenance is done which last time only lasted a day thankfully..Another thing is I am bein... read more
