Arrived at BNA and booked a car through the southwest app. There is no Advantage desk at the consolidated rental car area. The local phone number has an automated message saying they are located on the second floor by baggage claim. None of the airport staff at the information booth had ever heard of this company. Representatives at other car rental desks had only heard of other lost people who booked on southwest trying to find the company
This is a follow up from a previous review that I left some time ago. I had had an unpleasant experience when visiting Nashville during a family crisis and I was overcharged for my auto rental. Much to my surprise after I left the review management reached out and not only apologized for the incident but also promptly refunded the overage. I was very impressed by the level of support that I received. Just wanted to give them a much appreciated shout out. Thank you.
I gave it a two stars only because the car itself was fine and there is a gas station attached that made bringing it back convenient. The service was terrible - two people at the desks were lackluster, rude and acting as though people were bothering them. We were literally the only people in line behind the people each of them were helping and they made us walk all the way to the other end of the room and stand in a “queue” before they would wait on us. I rented a car from Advantage in Orlando through Expedia. We returned the car to an attendant that checked the car out and they later charged my credit card for $850 without notice. I reached out to the company to find out why they charged my credit card and never received a response. I filled out a survey on Expedia about the charge and then received a call from the company about the review. They then told me that the charge was for a cracked windshield. Thank you Advantage for being so accommodating and kind when I decided to extend my trip by one day, and then again when my flight got canceled. I encountered such a warm welcome when I arrived in Nashville and had no problem at all checking out my car. It was such a trusty ride and and Advantage provided great customer service throughout my trip when my travel changed multiple times. The check in process was easy and the check out process was smooth. Thank you for everything.
