Complaint against Advantage Tub Refinishing COMPLAINT AGAINST: ADVANTAGE TUB REFINISHING DO NOT USE THEM! We contacted Advantage to refurbish our claw tub. Advantage was to prepare the room, fill in a small chipped area (to be undetectable per their ad), and apply primer coats and topcoats so it would look brand new (per ad). The tub was not attached to any plumbing and we had the room empty with the air vent closed off to prevent dust.
