Was taking loads of #1 prepared steel off cuts of unused I beams and by the 4th or 5th trip they all of sudden tell me it’s shred steel. Unused pieces of I beams. They make up reasons on the spot that have nothing to do with if the material is or isn’t something. Once again pos tactics by people who are already giving you pennies for your material try and screw you out even more money. Don’t waste your time at this dump. Absolutely horrible place worst scrap metal yard ever stay away
This is a first class operation with the nicest people running the show
What a great experience. I brought in electrical bus ducts, which have steel aluminum and copper, the guy I think his name was Duran found a way to give us the best price possible way more than other places quoted us. Then they print you a ticket and you scan it at the ATM machine, no checks involved not even over $500. Everyone was kind and courteous and it was a great experience. I think this is the only scrapyard in town that does not write a check over $500. I will be back.
