I visited The Orchards at Warren today while my family member was being admitted for rehabilitation, and unfortunately my first impression was very disappointing. The floors in the facility appeared very dirty and sticky. The waiting room sofa was extremely dirty and did not look like it was being properly cleaned or maintained. A family like atmosphere, a great place for LTC, STC, & Rehab
My mom was there, supposed to be for rehab, she has Parkinson's with dementia, and she is type 1 diabetic. They gave her schizophrenia medication, and treated her for type 2 diabetes. They kept her drugged up on Kolonopin and Seraquel, she never received any kind of therapy, she was kept in a wheelchair and her bed only.
