My mother who’s 84 was referred to rehab after a couple of week stay at the hospital. I chose advanced rehab because it’s only 1 1/2 miles from my house and I could pop in at any time. Admission was great Donnie was super respectful, nice, and patient. But dinner time came around and I couldn’t believe my eyes, what she got was awful, night time came around and mom woke up to a man standing by her bad with nothing but a t- shirt on, she screamed for help and no one showed up. Very understaffed, limited nurses who actually care about the patients, nurses lied to us about giving our family member their medications and about what times they were given them, has gone very down hill with poor conditions for many of their patients. If you’re looking for a place that cares about your loved one, this is not the place.
This place has one nurse that belongs there, all of the rest should be fired. Hopefully, they will be after my family is done filing our complaints to the appropriate state Boards.
