Expect to wait 20 minutes or longer for an aide to help you use the bathroom. (Skilled nursing.) My mom spent almost a month in this facility. It might have been all right except for the long wait to go to the bathroom, which was a HUGE problem. When my sister and I were visiting, aides took 20 or more minutes to help her to the bathroom. Advanced healthcare of Albuquerque is the best place ever! All the staff took extremely good care of my father-in-law during his rehabilitation from a broken hip. I can’t say enough good things about advanced healthcare. The staff and technicians were caring, the food was good, bathrooms and the whole facility were clean, and the therapists were outstanding.
You will never believe. I am in Advantage Care to get IV antibiotics because the Presbyterian doctor did not culture the blood Infection so I needed more iv antibiotics. So far they have given me a terrible case of the norovirus so I cant go home and now...did not get my antibiotic last night. I heard the pharmacy myself state they dont know why it wasn't sent last night but they would send it out tonight. I am already allergic to 4 antibiotics. Starting and stopping antibiotics only causes more allergies. I'm furious this f... read more
Nurse came and told me I could not yell down the hallway for help. They claim they are writing everything down especially what I say. I was told to use the call light. The other lady tried use it and even she claimed it didn't work. Nurse told me they reset it. The other lady came back with ice. I had her try the call light again. It didn't work. I hate threats and being lied to and bullied. Guess they will kick me out.
My mom was in rehab at Advanced several months ago after a difficult recovery in the hospital from surgery for a hip fracture. If you have to go to rehab, this is where you want to be. It feels like a hotel. You have a private room and bathroom. My mom had physical therapy six days a week. The food was good. I appreciated that they brought her to the dining room for meals.
