Julie S. review for Adr Services

You wrote a review for Adr Services 3 minutes ago 1.0 star rating 9/27/2019 ADR Services is not what their website claims to be. They are not neutrals looking to help settle disputes. I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing the Judge (ret) Robert Letteau and his lack of interest in actually trying to mediate my situation. Instead, he proceeded to repeatedly lecture me on the cost of litigation while calling the reason I was there to mediate "ridiculous" and the amount of money the other party was asking for ridiculous. You would think since I was not the party demanding mediation, he would be looking neutral to the situation or at least open to hearing my side. He was neither. The fact is he was extremely biased and did nothing to actual mediate the situation. I called him out on this several times and he said I was trying to rush the process. There was a moment we came to complete standstill where the other party wouldn't budge and he just sat there. The whole process was a fiasco and I walked out. It didn't end there because that evening Judge Letteau took it upon himself to write a completely unprofessional and bias email to me and the other side, calling my behavior completely inappropriate and something he had never experienced in his career as a Judge or mediator/arbitrator. I had become very emotional during the mediation because it involved my house and a large sum of money I didn't have. I responded to his email stating that I found it inappropriate especially considering he copied the other side and I found it hard to believe no one had ever become upset or agitated around a matter in his entire career. The email further provided his bias and I requested a refund from ADR Services based on his lack of professionalism and neutrality. I received no response for ADR on this. I followed up again requesting a refund, stating again the reasons why and requesting a reply to my email. I received a reply denying my request and stating the situation had been reviewed with the owner Lucie Baron. I was surprised that someone who has their website state "since its inception, the company has always adhered to its goal of solving problems by providing a professional, yet unconventional and comfortable environment, together with exceptional customer service" that my request for a refund would be denied seeing that one of her own "neutrals" was anything but professional or neutral. The customer service was extremely lacking in that my first request for a refund was completely ignored and with my 2nd request the response was no we don't do that. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! If you do end up here avoided Judge Letteau. Google his name you can learn a lot.
